Tuesday, October 6 through Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the Franklin County Board of Elections, 1700 Morse Road, Columbus 43229. Free parking. It is the only early vote center in the county. Hours are listed below.
Request a ballot by Tuesday, October 27, 2026: call 614-525-3470 or mail Form 11-A. Ballots go out starting October 6. Return yours by mail, at the drop box outside 1700 Morse Road, or in person. It must be received by 7:30 PM on November 3. Only you or a close family member may return your ballot.
Tuesday, November 3, 2026, 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM, at your precinct polling place. Look it up by address on the Franklin County site before you go. Bring an unexpired photo ID. No ID? Ask for a provisional ballot.

PHOTO ID
Unexpired Ohio driver's license, Ohio state ID, or BMV interim ID; U.S. passport or passport card; U.S. military ID, Ohio National Guard ID, or VA ID. The address on your ID does not have to match.
Out-of-state licenses, student IDs, utility bills, bank statements, paychecks, Social Security cards, or any expired ID.
You can still vote a provisional ballot. Bring your photo ID to 1700 Morse Road by Saturday, November 7, 2026, and it counts.
Free at any BMV if you are 17 or older and do not hold a driver's license. Bring proof of name, date of birth, Social Security number, legal presence, and Ohio residency.
The mail ballot envelope accepts your Ohio license or ID number, the last four digits of your Social Security number, or a copy of a photo ID.

YOUR RIGHTS AT THE POLLS
You vote. The polls stay open for everyone already in line at closing time.
Only a precinct election official may challenge you, and only on citizenship, age, or residency. You answer under oath and you vote.
You cannot be refused a provisional ballot. Ask for one, then call the numbers below.
Anyone you choose may help you mark your ballot, except your employer or a union officer. Two officials of different parties can help too.
If a disability keeps you from entering the polling place, two officials will bring the ballot to your car or the door. Call the Board ahead of time.
Your employer cannot fire you or threaten you for taking a reasonable amount of time to vote on Election Day.
Only a person currently incarcerated for a felony cannot vote. On probation, parole, or post-release control, or done with your sentence? You can register and vote.
Moved within your precinct: sign a change of address at the polls and vote a regular ballot. Moved to a new precinct: update by October 5 or vote provisionally.

Two charter amendments on district-only voting for City Council seats. Issue 9 also adds four at-large seats over 2027 and 2029.
