THE FREEDOM FRAME

We are the streets and we are the suites.
Power moves from the streets to the suites and from the suites back to the streets, top down and bottom up, in one continuous cycle. The grandmother in Linden and the attorney in New Albany sit in the same General Body Meeting. The returning citizen rebuilding a life and the professor are both essential. When this branch speaks for members across every neighborhood and every profession, no one can dismiss us as elite and no one can dismiss us as unserious. Our diversity is our differentiator when we are united.
01 ORGANIZE
Black Columbus, organized. Membership is not symbolic. It is structural. Every member added is power built.
02 PROTECT
Black life, protected. Legal redress, crisis response, and a record that grows with every complaint filed.
03 CONFRONT
Systems, confronted. Political action, scorecards, and presence wherever decisions about Black Columbus are made.
04 BUILD
Infrastructure that outlasts any one leader: committees, data, media, and the leaders we train to replace us. Permanent Black power in Columbus.
05 CARRY IT TOGETHER
We fight for liberation and we protect our joy. The work is heavy. We do not carry it grim. We carry it together.

We coordinate. We do not control.
NAACP Columbus is the spine of a coalition, not an empire. That coalition starts with each other, across Black Columbus, and extends to every partner who shares the work. We convene, we coordinate, and we amplify. Partners keep their own name, their own lane, and their own credit. When partners win, we win.
